Purified Water, Organic Aloe Vera, Food grade Hydrogen Peroxide, Organic Essential Oils of Peppermint, Rosemary, Eucalyptus, Lemon, Clove, and Cinnamon.

This amazing rinse is part toothpaste and part mouthwash. It works for all oral issues including natural teeth whitening, gum pockets and receding gums, tooth sensitivity, bad breath, tartar, canker sores and toxic morning mouth. Each ingredient is high quality and all-natural.

Deionized Purified Water:  Water is the ultimate life force and it keeps us going. Regular tap water is filled with harmful substances like chlorine, arsenic, and fluoride. Essential Oxygen water is double filtered and deionized.

Food Grade Hydrogen Peroxide (1%): This ingredient is a powerhouse. Hydrogen peroxide is water (H2O – two hydrogen molecules and one oxygen molecule) with an additional oxygen molecule attached. It is the extra oxygen molecule that is the working agent of hydrogen peroxide, more specifically the release of it. Oxygen is a powerful antiseptic as well as a whitening agent. When hydrogen peroxide comes in contact with ANY organic substance, it will release its oxygen molecules. That is the cause of the foaming. When the oxygen is released and foaming begins, the foam purifies the mouth of destructive bacteria.

Organic Aloe Vera: Aloe vera in tooth gels is used to cleanse and soothe teeth and gums. It is equally as effective as toothpaste in fighting cavities, according to the May /June 2009 issue of General Dentistry, the Academy of General Dentistry’s clinical journal. Science Daily states that aloe eliminates pathogenic oral micro flora and contains anti-inflammatory anthraquinones that are healing and analgesic. Dilip George, MDS, co-author of the study, explains that the healing enzymes and polysaccharides come from aloe’s inner fillet and “must not be treated with excessive heat or filtered during the manufacturing process.” In making the Brushing Rinse, we use 100% pure organic aloe vera inner fillet that has been dehydrated by a unique low-temperature method.

Organic Essential Oils: The Essential Oxygen oil blend is a powerful mix of Peppermint, Eucalyptus, Rosemary, Cinnamon, and Clove*. This oil blend was chosen for its powerful anti-bacterial, anti-viral and anti-fungal qualities.

*Please keep in mind that clove is not recommended for pregnant women.

Essential Oxygen is free from: Sodium Lauryl Sulfate, Chlorine, Bleach, Animal Testing, Pesticides, Fluoride, Glycerin and Alcohol

Morning Mouth Protocol: While we sleep at night our bodies are in cleanse cycle and our saliva doesn’t circulate. Consequently, we wake up with a mouthful of bad oral bacteria and not the best breath. Rather than swallow this bacteria with your first drink of water, spit it out and swish with the rinse for 30 to 60 seconds while you do other morning activities. With the rinse still in your mouth, brush your teeth and tongue. Your mouth and your immune system will thank you

How long should I swish with the Brushing Rinse for before I brush? There is not a hard set required swishing time, but on average you should swish for about 30 seconds. If you are running short on time, you can do it for about 10-15 seconds. If you have more time or an acute oral issue that you are trying to target, you could swish for a minute or so.

How do I keep the Brushing Rinse from dribbling out of my mouth as I’m trying to brush? You can tilt your head back a little as you are brushing. If it still comes out, you could spit a little out after you swish so that you are brushing with less. By the way, it is OK if it does get on your skin.

Is it safe to use the Brushing Rinse with a Water Pik? We do not recommend using our product in a water pik. We have heard that forcing peroxide through the gums is not a safe practice. You may want to do further research on that subject.

Is it safe to use the Brushing Rinse with braces? No one has reported a problem with using the Brushing Rinse with braces. The Rinse will whiten the whole tooth when the braces come off. It’s nice to have the extra cleansing power the Rinse provides when brushing is impeded by the braces.

Is it ok if I swallow a little of the Brushing Rinse by accident? Many people use the ingredients in the Rinse for internal therapies. No worries on swallowing a little.

Should I also use an abrasive in addition to the Brushing Rinse? You could brush with an abrasive like clay or baking soda once a week.

Is Brushing Rinse safe for pregnant and breastfeeding women? Some say clove oil is contraindicated for pregnant women. The amount used in the Brushing Rinse is quite small and it is not ingested. Another consideration is the toll pregnancy takes on women’s teeth. It is a time to be hyper vigilant with oral care and minimizing oral bacteria. The old saying goes, “For every baby, a tooth.” Thus, I suggest you do a little research online and choose what feels right for you.

Is lemon damaging to tooth enamel? Lemon juice can be hard on tooth enamel. Lemon essential oil, as used in the Brushing Rinse is not.

Does hydrogen peroxide erode tooth enamel? Our research has revealed no indication that 1% Food Grade Hydrogen Peroxide (FGHP) removes enamel or is harmful to teeth in any way.

Is the Brushing Rinse safe for small children? Yes, it is safe for small children, but adult supervision is recommended.

Should I rinse with water after using the Brushing Rinse? We suggest rinsing after brushing or swishing to stop the foaming action.

Does the Brushing Rinse contain any animal ingredients or by-products of animals? No animals or animal by-products are used in any of our products.

Do you recommend using toothpaste with the Brushing Rinse? It is okay to use toothpaste with the Brushing Rinse, but I find current toothpastes on the market are problematic for a number of reasons. For one, it often contains harmful substances like sodium lauryl sulfate, alcohol or fluoride. Almost all “natural” toothpastes contain glycerin which research reveals blocks the absorption of minerals in teeth. I have grown to prefer the freshness of the Brushing Rinse to the gooey sweetness of toothpaste. Many dentists feel that brushing with toothpaste is removing enamel at an unhealthy rate.

I'm a big fan of food-grade hydrogen peroxide, so when I saw that Essential Oxygen had made this brushing rinse I couldn't wait to try it. And once I did ... I loved it. It's great for using in the morning when first hopping out of bed. A quick 30 second swish around the mouth followed by a brush of the teeth is a great way to promote happy teeth and gums, and a fresh breath, as well as being a fab way to naturally whiten teeth.
