This musky-exotic root acts as a special stabilizing fixative in natural perfumery. A tradition staple of Ayurvedic care, Spikenard was widely used throughout Egypt, Rome, and what is today the Middle East, for its restoring properties. It may calm agitation, worry, butterflies in the tummy, and restless nights.
