This handcrafted, portable sun-stick is formulated with sun-harmonizing botanicals that come to life under our star’s nourishing rays. Pure sunlight ignites the beneficial properties in these excellent elixirs that also smell like summer fun. High concentrations of sun-friendly flavonoids and carotenoids lend rich colors to some of these robust essences. This melody of tropical coconut, sweet flowers, warm spices, and verdant flora is a sensual invitation to long, languid summer days. Does the zinc oxide give skin a white sheen? Yes. We do add botanical pigments, yet the zinc in Everybody Loves the Sunshine Zinc Beach Balm does give skin from the palest to the darkest tones a white sheen, and as of right now this is unavoidable. Yet, if a person is seeking a skin-wise and natural sun block, zinc oxide is still the very best option.
HOW TO USE
Glide over the skin, paying special attention to your chin, nose, and shoulders. Be sure to reapply at least every two hours and more often if you are sweating, swimming, or the UV index is high.
Please note: Do not leave this beach balm in the hot sunshine all day, or it is likely to melt. Keep out of direct sunlight.
TRIED AND TESTED
It's no secret I'm not a big fan of sunscreens. I'm a big believer that the sun is a life force nourisher and not to be feared. I love to feel the sun kissing my skin in the early hours of the morning and hours of the late afternoon. But if I am out and about in the middle of the day with the sun shining then I'll wear a hat, and if out and about for extended periods of time I love to apply any of the sunscreens that we carry as they contain zinc oxide reflection. Everybody Loves the Sunshine Zinc Beach Balm is beautifully nourishing to the skin. It has a golden hue colour and smells heavenly. It is a teeny tiny bit chalky, so if you don't want that "white" look, then apply a layer of beauty oil before applying the Beach Balm and voila. Problem solved. This is ideal for using on the face and body.
