Very cleansing
"This mask leaves the skin feeling very clean and smooth. Very easy to prepare and I like to mist every few minutes to prevent the mask drying. Very happy with the result."
organic rhassoul clay.
* all Moroccan Natural ingredients are organic or wildcrafted
Rhassoul is renowned for its outstanding benefits that surpass those of other clays because it contains the highest content of silica, magnesium, potassium and calcium, and due of its extraordinary smectic qualities (absorption ability). It can be used as detoxifying cleanser, skin conditioner, shampoo, and facial & body mask. A non abrasive exfoliant, it acts like a magnet withdrawing all the toxins from the skin and replacing with highly beneficial minerals.
Clinical studies have been carried out in two different research laboratories in the United States that evaluated Rhassoul use for skin conditions. The results of this single use Rhassoul study produced these findings: Reduces dryness; Reduces flakiness; Improves skin clarity; Improves skin elasticity / firmness; Improves skin texture; Removes surface oil and oil from inside and around comedones (blackheads / whiteheads); Removes dead skin layers, resulting in a general smoothing of the skins surface.
For a face mask: Using a non-metallic bowl and spoon, mix 20g Rhassoul Clay with water until it is like a stiff paste in consistency. Add a few drops of Argan Oil. This can be used as a ‘quick’ mask leaving it on the skin for just five minutes or if you have time, 20 minutes.
As a chemical-free shampoo: For short/medium length hair, mix 40g with approx 70ml water, then apply to the hair, once in the shower, start gradually adding water as you massage the emulsion over the head and hair. Keep adding water until the hair is free of clay. Towel dry then comb through, no conditioner is needed as the hair is conditioned by the clay.
As a chemical-free conditioner: For medium/long length hair, mix 10g with approx 70ml water, then apply to the hair after shampooing with African Liquid Black Soap. Rinse thoroughly to ensure the hair is free of clay. As a chemical-free soap: spread a small amount over wet skin (face or body) then rinse off.
A beautiful effective face mask that always leaves my skin looking clean, clear, smooth and calm. Quite possibly one of the most under-rated, high-performing products that we have here. It's always a joy to use in a weekly face mask, and face and body scrub. I do love creating a mini at-home hammam experience in my bathroom by exfoliating my body from top to toe with this clay.

"I love this clay as a good chelating cleanser for my hair...also leaves my hair with extra oomph"
"I made a face mask from using 1 tablespoon of MOROCCAN NATURAL rhassoul clay, 1 tablespoon of raw cacao powder, 1 teaspoon of raw organic honey, 2 drops of Australian Sandalwood Nut Oil and a small amount of spring water to make a paste. There was ample enough of the face mask to share with my mother. After leaving it on for 20 minutes we washed it off with warm water and patted our faces dry with Living Libations 100% organic hemp cloth. Not only were our faces soft and smooth but there was a noticeable reduction in the pore size of our skin. Dawn Michelle from Minimalist Beauty was the innovator for this face mask recipe. The amounts I used differ from hers and I added the Australian Sandalwood Nut Oil. It worked a treat. To prepare our skin for the next step of our facial, we spritzed our faces with Living Libations Rose Glow Complexion Mist; then we blended in the palm of our hand one drop of Living Libations Cell Serum with one drop of Australian Sandalwood Nut Oil and applied this mix onto our face and neck. My mother enjoyed her facial and so did I."

"I received a sample of this, and at the time I had a bad flare-up of eczema on my face. I used this as a face mask, and it cleared my eczema up remarkably! Absolutely amazing product."
"The first time I used it as a face mask, my mom popped round and commented how nice my face looked, even though I wasn't wearing any makeup! I was quite pleased, as she wasn't a fan of my blemishes before and would be sure to tell me often lol. As a hair "shampoo", this blows the Shikakai powder out of the water. This is far more superior as a cleanser, and my hair is super happy from using it! It's renowned for it's ionic abilities which, as you will know from any ionic hair appliance, minimizes frizz to the max. This is a natural defrizz-ant though. In some cases you may not even need to use a conditioner. I have chemically treated lengths and ends, so I did feel that I needed a leave-in conditioner, but I am really pleased with the results. I'm that impressed I have put in an order for more - this isn't just a try-me, this will most definitely be a part of my beauty routine from now on."
